On the 7th November 2014, Matara, a very special and important place for Rory, hosted a pop-up Caribbean supper as a benefit for Rory’s Well, particularly to support the villages through the Ebola crisis. As local markets have been closed and farmers have not been able to harvest their crops, there was a real danger of severe food shortages and starvation. With the money raised, all the villages supported by Rory’s Well have been supplied with rice, and hygiene products to help keep them safe from Ebola. Thank you everyone for your generosity!
